LIGHT CONVERSION FILM
LCF

Eco Line N-Type HJT solar modules with and without LCF

The use of Light Conversion Films (LCF) enables a more efficient utilization of solar radiation. The film broadens the spectrum of incoming light and thus optimizes the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy. This leads to an increase in the overall module performance and energy generation per unit area.

Through the application of LCF, ultraviolet light, which is typically absorbed by the embedding material, is converted into visible blue light, giving the appearance of a blue hue to the solar module. This conversion enhances photon reactivity, making more light available for utilization.

LIGHT SPECTRUM

LIGHT SPECTRUM

From UV-C to infrarot light

Depending on the spectrum, we perceive light in different colors.

The wavelengths that LCF films convert light into fall within the visible blue spectrum range, resulting in solar modules with LCF appearing blue.

HIGHER QUANTUM EFFCIENCY*

LCF enhances module performance under various light conditions, including diffuse light and during periods of lower solar irradiance.

*External Quantum Efficiency (EQE): is the ratio of incident photons of a specific energy to collected charge carriers.
