ECO LINE GLASS-GLASS
PASS IEC 61215 HAIL TEST WITH
45 mm HAILSTONE AT 110.5 KM/H

In response to increasing extreme weather events, the Eco Line Glass-Glass solar modules (HJT and TOPCon) from Luxor Solar were submitted to TÜV Rheinland for hail impact testing under intensified conditions in accordance with IEC 61215 standards.
While the standard IEC 61215 test requires modules to withstand 25 mm hailstones at an impact speed of 23 m/s, Luxor’s modules—featuring a robust 2+2 mm dual-glass architecture—effortlessly withstood hailstones measuring 45 mm in diameter at an impact velocity of 30.7 m/s. This durability applies even to the largest module size currently available: 2382 x 1303 mm.
As a result, Eco Line Glass-Glass modules—available in all standard sizes—are fully suitable for deployment in regions subject to significantly harsher weather conditions and extreme climate events:
QUALITY. WITHOUT COMPROMISE.
„Successfully passing this rigorous test under enhanced conditions clearly positions Luxor Solar as a leader in climate resilience and product safety.“
